1. Decide if small groups are going to be the hub of the church or just one program among many.
2. Gather a group of potential small group leaders and spend time with the group to get them ready to lead a group..
3. Talk more about multiplication, leadership development, apprentices, etc than how to lead the small group. The key is for them to multiply more than to facilitate the group.
4. Each small group leader must understand the primary role they play is to raise up an apprentice who will lead a small group in the future
5. When you get to 8 small groups you need to have developed a coach to take over up to ten small groups to be their weekly coach by phone.
6. Everyone ,including the pastor needs to be reproducing
