Two missionaries meet in a jungle where neither of them have traveled before. Both have been traveling for some time and have not found one Christian in all their travels. On the one hand they know the harvest is plentiful. On the other hand they yearn for a kindred traveler. Both realize they are in a foreign land, with people who are much different from them. When they meet all is well again.
The point: If all of us would realize the danger we are in as missionaries in an emerging, unfriendly world, our focus would be different. We would not have time for all of the theological and denominational nonsense that surrounds so much of the conversation today and focus on one thing Do you know Jesus? If so, give me your hand.
