This is an excellent companion to Sacred Cows Make Gourmet Burgers or Growing Spiritual Redwoods. This delightful, uplifting book inspires as well as lays bear the problems with the mechanical, efficient view around which much of today’s churches are organized. It is must reading for anyone in business or the church who wants to understand the reason why so much of both worlds rob the human spirit of its soul. This book is helpful to those who want to know more about why people over 60 are having trouble relating to people under 50 when it comes to serving on committees. I give it my highest rating – four stars and have added it to my top ten reading list of this decade.
