There’s a difference between hoping for a deeper spiritual life and having a deep spiritual life. Hope is not a strategy, although a lot of us seem to rely on it. Making the shift from hope to reality depends on developing spiritual practices and establishing spiritual habits that will grow and strengthen your relationship with The Divine.

When my mom died, my dad lost his faith. He renounced God and left the church they’d devoted so much time and energy to. After that I began the search for why people leave God behind, even when they’ve been leaders in their church. What I discovered was that most “church folks” have a relationship with our church rather than with God.

Maybe that’s why you ..

  • Feel spiritually empty by the time Wednesday rolls around … or why you
  • Wonder if here’s anything more to spirituality than going to church … or why you
  • Connect with God using only a daily devotional and praying a prayer someone else has written for you … or why you
  • Teach your children Bible verses, creeds, and prayers to recite without giving them the personalized tools and mentoring each one of us needs to discover our unique place in God’s world.

In all fairness, too few churches have both the leaders and ministries necessary to provide the tools and support our spirits need to deepen our relationship with God.

That’s why Bill and I created the PrayerPower Network. The Network provides the From Hope to Habits Experience, weekly Review & Renew Sessions, Motivotionals, 1-on-1 Spiritual Discovery calls, mini-Retreats, and more.

Basically, I’ve brought together my more than 40 years of personal spiritual development, my teaching & coaching ministries, my ever-expanding catalogue of practices & habits, and my passion to help people develop a spiritually-rich relationship with God.

But I’d be lying if I told you the only reason I’ve developed the Network is to be part of changing lives, the church, and the world. The truth is, one of my reasons is quite selfish: I LOVE hearing what God’s doing in your life and watching your life change.
