How to Whitelist Our Email Domain

To be sure our messages don’t end up in your Spam or Junk folder, please tell your email program to trust emails from:
@effectivechurch.com

Here’s how to do that in the most common email programs and browsers:


Gmail (Google Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox)

  1. Open Gmail.
  2. In the search bar at the top, type: @effectivechurch.com
  3. Click the small down arrow in the search box.
  4. Click Create filter.
  5. Check the box that says “Never send it to Spam.”
  6. Click Create filter again.

Outlook (desktop or web)

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon) → View all Outlook settings.
  3. Choose MailJunk email.
  4. Under Safe senders and domains, click Add.
  5. Type: effectivechurch.com
  6. Click Save.

Apple Mail (on Mac)

  1. Open Apple Mail.
  2. Go to Mail in the top menu → Preferences.
  3. Click the Rules tab.
  4. Click Add Rule.
  5. Set it to: If “From” contains “effectivechurch.com” → Move message to Inbox.
  6. Click OK.

Yahoo Mail

  1. Open Yahoo Mail.
  2. Click the Settings gearMore settings.
  3. Go to FiltersAdd new filters.
  4. Name it “Effective Church.”
  5. For rule: From contains effectivechurch.com.
  6. Set to move messages to Inbox.
  7. Save.

That’s it! Once you’ve done this, emails from effectivechurch.com should always land safely in your inbox.
